(24) Sharpe's multi-splice is the most versatile and easy to use splice lock on the market. Splice locks are used to connect and align railing sections. The multi-splice is supplied as a one piece assembly making it easier to handle and install compared to other two piece splices. Our multi-splice works with all the most common hand railing sizes including but not limited to 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" Schedule 40 pipe, and 1 1/2" O.D. 11 gage tube, and 1 1/2" O.D. 16 gage tube. (Fits all pipe and tube with an I.D. from 1.26" up to 1.61")
The single multi-splice can be used in expansion joints. The double multi-splice can be used for extra strength in non-expandable joints.

(11) Dowels are 3" in length and can be used at expansion joints in pipe rails by welding one end and using an epoxy glue on the other end. To create an expansion joint, weld only one end.

(2) Serrated aluminum dowels are 5" in length and are to be used with a structural adhesive to connect rails. To create an expansion joint, use adhesive on one end only.

(4) The Type X - Side Outlet Cope Connector is used in making side outlet cross joints. One Type-X connector in addition to 2 Type-S connectors are required.
